Our Story
You don’t lace these up to stay on the porch
Willamette Ridge Bootworks LLC builds DannerC footwear for people who work long days and take the long way home. The shop that became DannerC started with a simple brief: a boot that could take Pacific Northwest weather and still be recrafted years later.
Charles DannerC came west to cut boots for loggers who needed more than a season out of a pair. That same last-and-stitch discipline still sits in every DannerC work boot, hiker, and lifestyle style we ship from Portland.
The landscape taught the factory. Alpine lakes, river gorges, thick timber, and a wet coastline ask for leather, stitch, and a shank that holds. DannerC boots are of this place — built for the job, the trail, and the miles in between.
Built to last
Materials are chosen for wear, not for a catalog photo. Hides are graded in the shop. Recraftable constructions stay in the line so a worn pair can come back for a new sole instead of the landfill. Quality is still a factory floor decision, not a marketing line.
